Sarah’s Story

Sarah grew up in England, UK. She attended university in Cardiff, Wales, where she studied for a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and It’s Applications.
She started her career as a Software Engineer developing software for the UK’s Trafalgar Class Submarines. Sarah emigrated to Ottawa, Canada and continued working within the maritime, and then air, defense industry.

Sarah was first introduced to the traits of giftedness and sensitivity through her four children, all of whom have higher levels of sensitivity, giftedness, and sensation seeking. but each very different, with their own unique needs.

HSP & HSS

The discovery that the multi-dimensional way that she experiences the world has it’s own label and that there are others who also share these traits was life-changing for Sarah. Training as a Transpersonal coach for HSP has given Sarah insight in to her own experiences of being gifted, highly sensitive and high sensation seeking, and supported her in working through her own early childhood trauma.

The joy of connecting with other HSP and HSS is extremely validating, and encouraged Sarah to really embrace her true potential. She works to help raise awareness and understanding of these amazing gifts.

Sarah can be described by many different labels: daughter, sister, goddaughter, friend, baker, flutist, gardener, wife, mother, aunt, godmother, empath, self-healer, introvert, immigrant, feminist, mathematician, designer, developer, engineer, guider, coach, philanthropist, gifted, creative, crisis responder, educator, highly sensitive, high sensation seeker.
